Cowdenbeath look for their first win on over 3 years over Morton and their first in Fife in 51 years when the ninth and tenth placed Championship sides meet.

Blue Brazil player/ manager Colin Cameron has a full squad to choose from as he looks to lead his men four points clear of their Greenock visitors.

The Central Park side have not won in four games, however they will take heart from a solid display in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Queen of the South with Cameron saying: “There was a lot more right about that performance than wrong. If we can build on that we can get the win and set us up nicely for the second round of games.”

Cappielow boss Allan Moore has brought former favourite Craig Reid back to the club on a short term deal and he looks set to face Cowdenbeath.

Moore’s men could be without five players as Joe McKee and Kabba-Modou Cham are both struggling and they could join the injured Thomas O’Ware, Reece Hands and David O’Brien in missing out.

The Cappielow boss said: “We took a lift when Nacho Novo joined us and we took a further lift when we played so well against Hamilton last week. We deserved more from that game than a 1-1 draw but hopefully we can play well and get a win over Cowdenbeath.”
