Alloa and Brechin progress on penalties

Alloa Athletic and Brechin City will contest the Ladbrokes Championship play-off final after a dramatic afternoon, with both legs live on BBC ALBA.

The Wasps beat Airdrieonians 1-0 at the Indodrill Stadium thanks to a stunning Jon Robertson strike and won 4-3 on penalties after it finished 1-1 on aggregate.

City relegated Raith Rovers after an incredible 3-3 draw at Stark's Park, with the Glebe Park side winning 4-3 on penalties after a 4-4 aggregate score.

Ross Caldwell had Brechin ahead but Jean-Yves M'voto equalised, with Declan McManus doing likewise in stoppage time after Alan Trouten netted. Ryan Hardie put Raith in front but Liam Watt levelled deep into extra time and Darren Dods' men triumphed on spot-kicks.

Gavin Swankie's double helped Forfar Athletic overcome Annan Athletic 4-2 (6-4 aggregate) at Station Park to set up a League 1 final meeting with Peterhead.

The Blue Toon saw off Montrose 3-0 at Balmoor after a 1-1 draw at Links Park on Wednesday - Rory McAllister bagged a brace for Peterhead.

It was 0-0 between Lowland League champions East Kilbride and Cowdenbeath in the first leg of the Ladbrokes League 2 play-off - the Blue Brazil missed a late penalty at K-Park.
