Annan Athletic have brought two exciting attacking talents to Galabank with goal-grabbing midfielder Scott Chaplain signing on from Albion Rovers and winger David Murray joining from Queen’s Park.

Chaplain,28, began his playing career at Rangers before moving on to Ayr United, Albion Rovers, Partick Thistle and Dumbarton before returning to Coatbridge where he scored twice in last season’s successful Play-Off Final against Stranraer.

Left winger Murray has joined his former Spiders team-mate Michael Daly in moving over from Hampden after 3 seasons at the National Stadium.

The Black and Gold’s manager Harry Cairney has not finished his recruitment drive as he has invited six players who featured in a trial game at the weekend back to the club for pre-season training.
