Arbroath have closed the gap on Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Forfar to a single point after a 2-0 win at Berwick Rangers.

Steven Doris (penalty) and Martin Scott got the goals for Dick Campbell's men at Shielfield to boost their title hopes.

Stirling Albion made it five wins on the trot by beating in-form Annan Athletic 1-0 at Forthbank with a Darren Smith goal.

Michael Bolochoweckyj and Matty Smith were on target as Montrose defeated bottom club Cowdenbeath 2-0 at Central Park.

Clyde came from behind to beat Edinburgh City 3-1 at Broadwood and end their long wait for a league win. Lewis Allan opened the scoring but Matty Flynn equalised and Peter MacDonald bagged a double for the Bully Wee.
