Crawford nets short term deal

Thursday 15th December 2011

Former Queen’s Park, Dumbarton, Alloa and Ayr United goalkeeper David Crawford has agreed a short term deal with Clyde until January 9 after impressing in two games as a trialist.

Crawford has been out of the game, apart from one trialist appearance for Albion Rovers back in August, since being released by the Somerset Park club at the end of last season.

The 26 year old is not getting over excited about being back in the game saying, “I have enjoyed my games at Clyde and will see what happens at the end of it. I was in at a few clubs in pre-season but there was so little money about I never signed for anyone.”

“I will play for Clyde for the month and take things from there.”
