Full back leaves Albion for personal reasosn

Thursday 8th September 2011

Allan DempsieAlbion Rovers have advised that their former Hibs, Ayr United and Elgin City full back Allan Dempsie has left the club by mutual consent after just 3 games including one when he ended up in goal.

Dempsie, 28, joined the Coatbridge side in the summer however, has not featured recently due to personal reasons and these reasons are behind his decision to amicably end his time with Paul Martin’s side.

Martin said, “Allan was very committed to us during his short spell and even ended up in goal when we lost 6-2 to Arbroath at the start of the league season. He has had to leave due to a change in his personal circumstances and I would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him all the very best for the future.”
