Stirling release three

Bottom of the Third Division Stirling Albion have released three players from their squad with experienced goalkeeper Mark Peat and young strikers Gary Brass and Andy Hunter all leaving by mutual consent.

Peat who began his career at Aberdeen before having spells at Arbroath, Montrose, East Stirlingshire and Berwick Rangers joined the Forthbank side in the summer from Beith Juniors.

The 30 year played 15 times this season, however the arrival of shot-stopper David Crawford from Montrose has seen Peat depart.

20 year old Brass has scored once in his two years at the club with Hunter spending most of this season out on loan at Dunipace Juniors.

Stirling manager Greig McDonald said: “We would like to thank the players for their efforts during their time at Stirling. We wish them all the very best for the future.”
