Stranraer have snapped up former Morton player Nathan Shepherd after the 19 year old left sided player starred as the Blues lifted the Stena Cup at the weekend, following penalty kick wins over Northern Irish sides Glenavon and Coleraine.

The youngster gained experience on loan at Junior side Glenafton last season with Stair Park boss Keith Knox saying, “I am delighted to get Nathan on board as he can play anywhere on the left hand side of the pitch. He scored a couple of goals at Glenafton last season during his short time there and hopefully we can see that side of his game regularly with us.”
