Celtic moved to within a point of Clydesdale Bank U19 League leaders Hearts, with a game in hand, thanks to a 5-2 win over Motherwell at Creamery Park, Bathgate on Tuesday afternoon.

The reigning champions stormed into a 5-0 half-time lead courtesy of four goals from Tony Watt (pictured) and a Callum McGregor strike before Craig Moore's double reduced the deficit.

In the day's other game, Rangers defeated bottom club Inverness CT 2-0 in Dingwall. Barrie McKay and Lewis MacLeod got the goals in the first half for Billy Kirkwood's side.
