Bairns hit back in play-off thriller

Dundee United and Falkirk drew 2-2 in a thrilling Premiership play-off semi-final, first leg, at Tannadice on Tuesday night.

Simon Murray fired Ray McKinnon's men in front but James Craigen scored a spectacular equaliser for Peter Houston's men before the break.

Blair Spittal restored United's advantage but Joe McKee netted with a stunning free-kick on the hour mark as it ended all square on Tayside.

The teams meet again at the Falkirk Stadium on Friday, live on BT Sport at 7.45pm, for the right to play Hamilton Accies or Inverness CT in the final on May 25 and 28.
