Development League round-up

Hibernian's lead at the top of the SPFL Development League was cut to two points when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Inverness CT on Tuesday.

Scott Boden and Dean Ebbe had Caley Thistle in command but Adam Watson pulled one back and Scott Martin grabbed a last-minute equaliser at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

Recent signing Gordon Shea was among the scorers as Motherwell beat St Johnstone 3-1 at the Excelsior Stadium while Ross County are in third place after thumping Partick Thistle 6-2 at the same venue, helped by a Greg Morrison hat-trick.

Joe Dodoo converted two penalties as Rangers beat Dundee United 2-1 at Forthbank while St Mirren edged out Kilmarnock 4-3 at the Paisley 2021 Stadium. Jack Paterson scored twice for Killie while Conor O'Keefe bagged a double for Saints, including a stoppage-time winner.

On Monday, Hearts defeated reigning champions Celtic 1-0 at Ochilview thanks to a goal from Ally Roy and Nick Ross got both goals as Dundee defeated Dunfermline 2-0 at Links Park.

Berwick Rangers are two points clear in the Development League East after winning 2-1 at Livingston while Queen of the South remain just ahead of Morton in the West section after both won this week.
