Motherwell are top of the SPFL Development League after beating Partick Thistle 3-0 at the Excelsior Stadium on Tuesday.

An Alex Fisher double helped Stephen Craigan's side earn a comfortable victory as they made it 10 points from 12 so far.

Dundee are second on goal difference thanks to a 4-2 win over Aberdeen, with Matty Henvey netting twice for the Dark Blues.

St Johnstone suffered their first defeat, going down 1-0 to Falkirk, while Dundee United got off the mark with a 1-0 success at Kilmarnock.

Jamie Gullan netted the clincher as Hibernian beat Hamilton Accies 3-1 at Oriam and Jordan Kirkpatrick opened the scoring as St Mirren saw off Hearts 3-0 at the Paisley 2021 Stadium.

The match between Celtic and Ross County was postponed due to Celtic's involvement in the UEFA Youth League.

Morton dropped their first points in the Development League West in a 1-1 draw with East Kilbride while Berwick Rangers top the Development League East after beating Forfar Athletic 3-1.
