Alloa Athletic continued their good run with a 2-0 win away to Albion Rovers to stay third in Ladbrokes League 1.

Arbroath moved into the play-off places thanks to a 2-0 victory over bottom club Queen's Park at Hampden and it was the same score as a Ryan Conroy double saw Airdrieonians overcome Stranraer at the Excelsior Stadium.

Forfar Athletic completed the set of 2-0 successes by beating East Fife at Station Park. Leaders Ayr United host second-placed Raith Rovers on Tuesday.

Stirling Albion remain two points clear at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 despite dropping their first away points in a 1-1 draw at Clyde.

Second-placed Montrose were held 1-1 by Annan Athletic at Links Park while Mark McGuigan bagged a double as Stenhousemuir defeated Peterhead 3-2 at Balmoor to move level with the Blue Toon in the top four.

Brian Cameron scored twice as Elgin City won 3-1 at bottom club Cowdenbeath while it finished 1-1 between Berwick Rangers and Edinburgh City at Shielfield.
