Motherwell moved seven points clear of bottom club Inverness CT with a 4-2 win in the Ladbrokes Premiership on Saturday.

Chris Cadden and Louis Moult scored early on but an Alex Fisher double hauled Caley Thistle level, only for Scott McDonald and Allan Campbell to secure a vital victory for the hosts at Fir Park.

Hamilton Accies leapfrogged Dundee with a 2-0 success at Dens Park. Alex D'Acol converted a penalty and Mikey Devlin struck late on as the Dark Blues slipped into the relegation zone.

Second-placed Aberdeen beat St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park. Ryan Christie and a Tam Scobbie own goal had the Dons in command at the break before Danny Swanson pulled one back from the penalty spot.

Rangers ended Partick Thistle's recent good run with a 2-0 win at Ibrox thanks to goals from Kenny Miller and Jon Toral.

Leaders Celtic are away to Ross County on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12.30pm.
