Youssouf Mulumbu scored the only goal as Kilmarnock beat Ladbrokes Premiership leaders Celtic 1-0 at Rugby Park on Saturday.

It was Killie's fifth home win in a row and lifts Steve Clarke's side into the top six as the visitors suffered only their second domestic defeat under Brendan Rodgers. Jamie Maclaren scored the winner from the penalty spot as Hibernian defeated Rangers 2-1 to complete an Ibrox double this season after Sean Goss had cancelled out John McGinn's opener.

Aberdeen are now six points clear in second spot after a 3-0 home victory over Hamilton Accies, helped by an Andy Considine double. David Milinkovic struck to give Hearts a 1-0 win against St Johnstone at Tynecastle while it ended 1-1 between Motherwell and Partick Thistle at Fir Park. Alex Schalk bagged a brace as bottom club Ross County saw off Dundee 4-1 at Dens Park.

St Mirren now have a 14-point lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship after beating Queen of the South 2-0 in Paisley thanks to first-half goals from Liam Smith and Harry Davis. Alan Lithgow set third-placed Livingston on their way to a 3-1 win at Falkirk while Morton are into the top four after beating Dunfermline Athletic 2-1 at Cappielow, where Gary Oliver netted a last-minute winner. Inverness CT v Dundee United and Dumbarton v Brechin City were postponed. 

Raith Rovers returned to the summit of Ladbrokes League 1 with a 3-1 win over bottom club Queen's Park at Hampden while Ayr United went down 2-1 to play-off hopefuls Alloa Athletic at Somerset Park. Arbroath are up to third after defeating Albion Rovers 1-0 at Gayfield, East Fife beat Stranraer 2-0 at Stair Park and Airdrieonians edged out Forfar Athletic 1-0 at Station Park.

Chris Templeman's goal was the difference as Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Montrose moved four points in front of title rivals Peterhead with a 1-0 win at Balmoor. Stenhousemuir, in third, thumped Berwick Rangers 4-0 at Ochilview and Stirling Albion’s Darren Smith became the first player this season to reach 20 league goals with a double in the 3-1 defeat of Elgin City at Forthbank. David Goodwillie scored a last-minute winner as Clyde beat Edinburgh City 3-2 at Broadwood while it was 1-1 between Annan Athletic and bottom club Cowdenbeath at Galabank.
