Craig Fowler selects his latest SPFL Team of the Week, with Falkirk forward Myles Hippolyte named star man.

GK - Allan Fleming (Montrose)
It took Queen of the South 87 minutes to get past the Montrose goalkeeper as the League 2 side came very close to pulling off arguably the shock of the round. Even though his side would eventually lose 3-1 in extra-time, this shouldn't detract from Fleming's man-of-the-match performance as he made a number of good saves.

DC - David McKay (Raith Rovers)
A Montrose win may have been the shock of the round had they pulled it off, but since they didn't, that particular achievement goes to Raith Rovers. The League 1 leaders went to the home of the side top of the Championship table and ran out 3-1 winners. Young McKay, playing at the heart of the defence, put in a superb performance.

DC - Coll Donaldson (Inverness Caley Thistle)
The ex-Dundee United stopper impressed in Caley Thistle's 3-0 victory over Peterhead. The former Livingston defender helped John Robertson’s side shut out the Blue Toon as they reached the last eight of the IRN-BRU Cup.

DC - Conrad Balatoni (Falkirk)
Balatoni netted the opener as Falkirk made it two wins out of two under interim boss Alex Smith to dump rivals Dunfermline out of the competition. Aside from his goal, Balatoni put in an assured performance in defence as the hosts comfortably ran out 2-0 winners.

MR - Graham Taylor (Dundee United)
United put out an XI featuring a few young players against Northern Irish champions Linfield and still managed to claim a 1-0 win. Taylor impressed in midfield, looking lively on the ball and working hard to cover his full-back.

MC - Kyle Turner (Stranraer)
Despite Stranraer's 2-1 loss to Dumbarton on Friday night, the young midfielder stood out among all others. His poise on the ball even impressed the home support, who were effusive in their praise of 19-year-old.

MC - Jamie Berry (Raith Rovers)
Another youngster who finds a place in this team, Berry never put a foot wrong during Raith's 3-1 victory over St Mirren in Paisley.

ML - Tom Walsh (Dumbarton)
Walsh managed an assist and showed some nice touches on the wing as Dumbarton survived a second-half scare to overcome Stranraer 2-1 in the third round of the IRN-BRU Cup.

FC - Lewis Vaughan (Raith Rovers)
Vaughan finds himself back in Team of the Week after netting one and providing another during Raith's victory over the Buddies. The 21-year-old has been in sensational form this term, bagging 16 goals in 15 games despite largely playing in midfield.

FC - Lyndon Dykes (Queen of the South)
The striker came off the bench to re-energise Queens during the come-from-behind victory over Montrose. Dykes' presence took the pressure off Stephen Dobbie a little, allowing the veteran to tie the match late on, before the substitute put them on the road to victory, scoring the second in extra-time.

FC - Myles Hippolyte (Falkirk)
A goal and an assist for the attacker, who played a significant role in Falkirk's victory over Dunfermline. Typically used as a wide player, Hippolyte started through the middle alongside Kevin O'Hara and shone in his new role. His second-half strike was of the highest quality, flicking the ball over the head of Lee Ashcroft before out-pacing Nat Wedderburn and firmly planting the ball into the bottom corner. He is this week's star man.
