Craig Fowler picks his SPFL Team of the Week, with Aberdeen keeper Joe Lewis singled out for special praise after his superb performance against Hearts on Saturday.

GK - Joe Lewis (Aberdeen)
Joe Lewis was the hero for Aberdeen after a string of brilliant saves helped the Dons hold out for a 0-0 draw with Hearts at Murrayfield, as Craig Levein returned to the Hearts dugout for the first time since 2004. It was an inspired performance from the big goalkeeper, which included an utterly tremendous denial of Jamie Walker in the first half. For this reason, he is this week's star man.

DC - Ross Perry (Albion Rovers)
The ex-Rangers and Raith Rovers defender put in a really solid performance to earn Rovers all three points from their trip to Arbroath. Despite not starting the game particularly well, the visitors would go on to record a 4-1 victory, with Perry grabbing the third.

DC - Iain Davidson (Raith Rovers)
'Big Davo' was superb at the heart of the Rovers defence as Barry Smith's side came from behind to open up a four-point gap at the top of League 1. Davidson saved his side on numerous occasions during a testing first half, where Ayr United finally made the breakthrough in injury time, only for Raith to turn the match on its head in nine second-half minutes.

DC - Jack Iredale (Queen's Park)
The on-loan Morton centre-back was praised for his composure on the ball in the aftermath of Queen's Park's 1-0 victory at East Fife. Operating on the left of a back three, Iredale routinely helped build attacks from the back and handled his defensive responsibilities with little fuss.

MR - Daniel Candeias (Rangers)
Another impressive showing from the Rangers winger, who was the clear man of the match in his side's 4-1 triumph over Dundee. The Portuguese attacker likes nothing better than to go at his marker and get crosses into the penalty area, leading the league in that regard with 45 deliveries from wide areas.

MC - Ross Callachan (Hearts)
A very impressive debut from a player who made a leap two levels up on transfer deadline day. Callachan's industry and determined off-the-ball running was exactly what Hearts had previously missed in the midfield battle.

MC - Alan Campbell (Motherwell)
The youngster covered every blade of grass as Motherwell continued their winning streak with a 2-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Fir Park. Such was the level of his performance in the centre of the park that some fans were comparing him to a young Keith Lasley.

ML - Grant Anderson (Stranraer)
Two goals and a man-of-the-match showing from the ex-Raith Rovers man as Stranraer defeated Airdrieonians 3-1 to move level on points with the Diamonds in the League 1 table. His pace was a problem for the visitors throughout.

FC - Scott Sinclair (Celtic)
Another attacker who netted a brace at the weekend. Sinclair managed to do so twice in the first half of Celtic's comfortable victory at Hamilton, and the only disappointment would have been his failure to find a hat-trick, passing up a couple of second-half opportunities.

FC - Gavin Reilly (St Mirren)
Once more the St Mirren striker finds himself in this team for another tireless performance in the Buddies' 4-2 home victory over Inverness. Though he didn't find the back of the net, his non-stop running was instrumental in St Mirren going top of the Championship.

FC - David Goodwillie (Clyde)
The former Dundee United striker was the best player on the park as Clyde halted Stirling Albion's 100 per cent record with a 3-2 win at Forthbank. Goodwillie got their leveller just before half-time.
