Title chance for St Mirren at Tannadice

Tuesday 10th April 2018

St Mirren could be crowned winners of the Ladbrokes Championship this evening when they face Dundee United at Tannadice.

Jack Ross's side beat bottom club Brechin City 1-0 at Glebe Park on Saturday to move to the brink of the title and a draw against pre-season title favourites Dundee United would be enough to seal a return to the Premiership.

United are fourth in the table, two points behind Morton who host Dumbarton at Cappielow. Inverness Caley Thistle, who still have an outside chance of making the top four, welcome Falkirk to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

There are two games in Ladbrokes League 2 - Montrose will go top if they avoid defeat against bottom club Cowdenbeath at Central Park and Stenhousemuir can take a big step towards securing a play-off place if they beat Berwick Rangers at Shielfield, where a 3.00pm pitch inspection is planned.
