Devine time at an end at Stranraer

Blues part company with defender

Former Stirling Albion defender Stewart Devine has been released by Third Division Stranraer after dropping out of the picture at Stair Park through injury.

Devine who joined the Blues in the summer after a 6 month break from the game when he left Stirling Albion but he played only once against Queen of the South in a Scottish Communities Cup tie.

A loan move to Bo’ness was cut short after the 28-year-old picked up an injury and it has now been agreed that a parting of the ways is the best way forward.
