Arbroath have extended the loan period of Motherwell striker Lee Erwin for a third and final month.
Erwin has scored six times in eight games and Gayfield player/manager Paul Sheerin said: “Lee has been terrific since he came here and I am delighted to get him for another period. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we can extend it due to the rules that are in place.”
The Red Lichties host Brechin this weekend in the Scottish Cup but Erwin will not be available, with Sheerin explaining: “Motherwell have not allowed Lee to be cup-tied and I can understand that call."
