Prunty signs on again at Dumbarton

Striker remains a Son

The scorer of the best goal in Scotland last season, Dumbarton striker Bryan Prunty, has signed on for another year at the Sons.

Bryan PruntyThe 29-year-old former Celtic , Aberdeen, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Airdrie United, Ayr United, Stirling Albion and Alloa front man, who moved to the Bet Butler Stadium in May 2011, caused Livingston’s website to crash back in February as so many fans wanted to see his spectacular scissors kick in a 3-2 win.

His strike won an award from the SFL and PFA Scotland and Prunty said: “It was an easy decision to make to re-sign for Dumbarton. Another season playing in the First Division was very appealing.”

“It will be another tough campaign but one I am looking forward to.”
