Dundee United defender Andy Robertson has been named SPFL Young Player of the Month for September after an impressive start to his Tannadice career.
The 19-year-old joined Jackie McNamara’s side from Queen’s Park in the summer and has been in outstanding form at left-back.
Robertson helped United stay unbeaten in their four league and cup matches last month and scored a spectacular goal in the 2-2 draw with Motherwell.
He has since been called up to the Scotland U21 side and has signed a new deal that will keep him at Dundee United until 2016.
