Saints look at Sinclair a third time

Montrose’s highly rated flying fullback Aaron Sinclair has been invited to training with St Johnstone for a third time with his stay this time looking to be weeks rather than days. The 18 year old has joined the Perth side for two short spells already, however he has now been asked to train with them on a full time basis for an unlimited period.

Links Park boss Steven Tweed is delighted saying, “Aaron can train with St Johnstone during the week and we get the benefit of a fitter player for match days. He was sensational in our 8-1 win over Clyde at the weekend despite not adding to the goals he has been getting recently. If that is what the short training sessions there have helped achieve then I am looking forward to seeing him when he has been there for a few weeks.”

Tweed added, “No deal to take Aaron to Perth has been discussed and as far as I know St Johnstone still just want to look at the player.”
