Stirling Albion have released long serving defender Stewart Devine from the club after nearly a decade of service at Forthbank. Devine featured on the left flank for Stirling Albion over 200 times, however he has failed to establish himself in manager John O’Neill’s plans after injury last season.
O’Neill said, “Stewart has been a fantastic servant to the club, however following his injury last year he has found it hard to re-establish himself in the side. By allowing Stewart to leave now he should be best placed to get a club during the next Transfer Window and everyone at the club would like to thank him for his commitment. We all wish him well in his future career.”
