Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from The Terrace TV selects his SPFL Team of the Week, with Kilmarnock's assist king Chris Burke the star man...

GK - David Mitchell (Clyde)
There weren't many obvious contenders for goalkeeper spot, so we've gone for Clyde's No 1 for keeping a clean sheet in their Scottish Cup victory at Bonnyrigg Rose. Mitchell has just signed a new deal and made some good saves amid a reassuring performance in a tricky tie.

DR - Nathan Patterson (Rangers)
Rangers fans were purring about the performance of the youngster in what was otherwise a routine 2-0 win over Stranraer on Friday night. The young right-back showed lots of urgency and attacking intent.

DC - Mark Durnan (Falkirk)
The defender kept things simple and helped his side keep a clean sheet and earn a replay after their 0-0 draw away at Arbroath in the Scottish Cup.

DC - Steven Bell (Ayr United)
Bell  scored the only goal and shone at the heart of the defence as Ayr pulled off the shock of the weekend to knock Premiership side Ross County out of the Scottish Cup.

DL - Callum Booth (St Johnstone)
The defender scored a spectacular opener with his weaker right foot to send St Johnstone on the way to victory in their clash with Morton, a contest they would eventually win 3-0.

MR - Chris Burke (Kilmarnock)
The assist machine! Kilmarnock scored six goals against Queen’s Park and they were all created by their veteran winger. Six assists! That's insane. How could we not give him the star man award?

MC - Dillon Powers (Dundee United)
Making just his second appearance for the club, Powers impressed in the 2-2 Scottish Cup stalemate with Hibs at Tannadice on Sunday. The American midfielder showed plenty strength, hard work and ability to link well with his team-mates.

MC - Tom Rogic (Celtic)
It's not been a great season for the midfielder, who has found first-team opportunities limited, but he took advantage of the opportunity given to him at the weekend, shining in the 2-1 win over Partick Thistle for the Scottish Cup holders.

ML - Euan Henderson (Hearts)
The young attacker excelled on the wing as Hearts romped into the next round with their first win under new boss Daniel Stendel, defeating Airdrieonians 5-0 at Tynecastle. Henderson had a goal and an assist in the match.

FC - Greig Spence (Stenhousemuir)
The only player not involved in Scottish Cup action comes from Ladbrokes League 2, where the Warriors defeated Elgin City 3-2 at Borough Briggs. Spence was the hero of the hour, netting his first league goals in two years - one in the first minute and the other in the last - to earn his side the win.

FC - Christopher Long (Motherwell)
Dundee were dumped out of the Scottish Cup at the hands of Premiership side Motherwell, who strode to a 3-0 win thanks to a Long hat-trick on Saturday evening.
