Motherwell cinch Premiership

Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his Team of the Week, with Motherwell midfielder Allan Campbell the star man...

GK - Ofir Marciano (Hibernian)
The Hibs goalkeeper made one of the saves of the season to prevent Scott Arfield from netting the winning goal in the 2-2 draw with Rangers at Easter Road on Sunday.

DC - Coll Donaldson (Ross County)
County were able to win away to St Johnstone despite touching the ball in the opposing area only four times all game. That was largely thanks to a stellar defensive performance from Donaldson…

DC - Alex Iacovitti (Ross County)
... and his centre-back partner. The two were in dominant form throughout as they successfully stifled the threat from Stevie May and Callum Hendry in the St Johnstone attack.

DC - Bevis Mugabe (Motherwell)
A solid performance at the back and netting the third goal made it a great day’s work for the Motherwell centre-back as Stephen Robinson's men flew out of the traps to record a 3-0 win at Pittodrie on Sunday.

MR - Scott Arfield (Rangers)
Arfield played with urgency, a sense of adventure and scored his side's second goal in the 2-2 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday afternoon.

MC - Allan Campbell (Motherwell)
Another outstanding performance from the midfielder was the catalyst for Motherwell taking Aberdeen apart in the opening 25 minutes on Sunday. He was a destructive force in both midfield and attack and had Dons boss Derek McInnes singing his praises. He is this week's star man.

MC - Aaron Tshibola (Kilmarnock)
The midfielder may be flying under the radar but he's consistently excelling for Killie and was at it again on Saturday, helping his side win the engine-room battle despite them going down to 10 men in the first half when Eamonn Brophy saw red.

ML - Callum McGregor (Celtic)
McGregor's passing, moving and tempo were a huge reason the champions were able to see off Livingston with a 3-2 victory at Celtic Park, not to mention scoring the equaliser so soon after Jason Holt had given the visitors a shock lead.

AMR - Greg Kiltie (Kilmarnock)
Kiltie scored the opening goal and put in a power of work on the left-hand side as Killie overcame their early setbacks to defeat Hamilton Accies 2-1 at Rugby Park.

AML - Adrian Sporle (Dundee United)
Sporle was given a more advanced role than the typical left-back slot we're used to seeing from him. The Argentine excelled in the 2-1 home victory over St Mirren, including grabbing what proved to be the winning goal.

FC - Ryan Christie (Celtic)
The midfielder was back to playing up front, although the presence of Albian Ajeti alongside him in the 3-5-2 enabled Christie to roam around and get on the scoresheet in Celtic's 3-2 victory over Livingston.
