GK - Craig Gordon (Heart of Midlothian)
Hearts were able to rescue a point against Livingston when Josh Ginnelly fired in an injury-time equaliser, but they wouldn't have been in the position were it not for their goalkeeper. Gordon saved a penalty to keep the 10 men in the match at 1-0 down and was forced into another couple of impressive stops.
DEF - Anthony Ralston (Celtic)
The right-back impressed with his typical rampaging runs from deep as Celtic survived a scare to come from behind and defeat Ross County 2-1 at Celtic Park.
DEF - Anthony Stewart (Aberdeen)
Aberdeen go into the World Cup break with a two-point lead in third place thanks to a 1-0 win on Saturday evening against Dundee United. Bojan Miovski netted the only goal of the game but it was Stewart who stood out, keeping Steven Fletcher very quiet and preserving a clean sheet.
DEF - Joe Wright (Kilmarnock)
Killie got themselves a huge result at the weekend, defeating Hibernian 1-0 at Rugby Park and moving off the bottom of the table. Wright was dominant at the back and kept things neat and tidy in possession.
DEF - Scott Hooper (Annan Athletic)
Another relegation-threatened side with a big result at the weekend. Annan took full advantage of promotion hopefuls Stirling Albion succumbing to a first-half red card as they ran out 2-0 winners at Forthbank. Hooper impressed at centre-back in the win.
MID - Kalvin Orsi (Dumbarton)
An excellent performance from the wide man helped Dumbarton to a 4-0 win at Elgin. He was a real creative force throughout, including setting up the opener, as the Sons moved five points clear at the top of League 2.
MID - Stefan Scougall (Alloa Athletic)
Another thumping result at the weekend took place in cinch League 1 as Alloa Athletic ensured Queen of the South weren't able to bask in their dominant win away at Edinburgh for long, beating the visitors 5-1 at the Indodrill. Scougall pulled the strings throughout.
MID - Charlie Reilly (Albion Rovers)
A double from the wide man, including the winning penalty in injury-time, enabled the Wee Rovers to defeat East Fife 3-2 in cinch League 2. The result against the 10 men takes the Coatbridge side two points off the bottom and on a run of four games undefeated.
FWD - Curtis Main (St Mirren)
He didn't get on the scoresheet but Main was brilliant in the 1-1 draw against Rangers at the weekend as Saints came within a few minutes of a memorable win.
FWD - Dipo Akinyemi (Ayr United)
Two goals from the SPFL top scorer helped Ayr United maintain a three-point lead at the top of the cinch Championship table. That's now 13 league goals for the season from the striker, who will hope to have fired the Honest Men to the Premiership by the end of the campaign.
FWD - Jordan Allan (Clyde)
Clyde got off to almost the perfect start under returning boss Jim Duffy as Allan bagged a double to give them a surprising 2-0 lead at table-toppers Dunfermline. They didn't manage to hold on, but Allan deserves his place for playing a key role in the confidence-boosting result.
