Champions Celtic look to get the better of the only team to have beaten them in the Premiership this season when Aberdeen visit Celtic Park.

Green and white assistant manager Johann Mjallby who is leaving the club at the end of the season said: “I have still 3 games to go and I intend to enjoy them and finish my time here with 3 wins.”

“It will be a real test as Aberdeen are a good side that have done well against us recently. We played well against Inverness last weekend and won 6-0. It is important to us to show that we are the best team in Scotland in our remaining games.”

Georgios Samaras is doubtful for the visit of the Premiership’s second-top side with Steven Mouyokolo, Darnell Fisher, Nir Biton, James Forrest and Derk Boerrigter all expected to remain out.

The Dons have stuttered since winning the Scottish League Cup back in March with only two wins since then however they have beaten Celtic twice in 2014 and a third success would see Derek McInnes’ side clinch a European slot.

McInnes said: “We had a positive result against Celtic in the Scottish Cup and then at our place in the league and those results will help us in this game. We will be looking for another positive result as qualifying for Europe is in our hands and we want it to stay that way.”

“Celtic are a very strong side and there result last weekend was a really good one but we will look for the win. They have been really consistent and deserve great credit for that however we are looking for another win.”

The Pittodrie side miss Andrew Considine who has suffered a hamstring injury and Nicky Low who broke a toe recently with Joe Shaughnessy and Peter Pawlett classed as doubts.
