Caley Jags relegated despite win over Steelmen

Inverness CT went down fighting after they were relegated despite a stirring 3-2 win over Motherwell at the Caledonian Stadium in the SPFL Ladbrokes Premiership. Second half goals from Greg Tansey and Alex Fisher (2) put them 3-0 up before James McFadden and Ryan Bowman pulled goals back for ‘Well. Hamilton’s win over Dundee meant that the Caley Jags’ seven-year stay in the top-flight came to an end.
