New Clyde boss Barry Ferguson has confirmed that midfielder John Sweeny will carry on as captain.
Sweeny joined the Broadwood club back in 2010 and Ferguson believes he is the right man for the job, saying: “John is our longest-serving player, with only Iain Gray having a similar length of service.
“He knows what this club is all about and I do not see any reason to change his role. He is an important member of my squad and I am looking forward to working with him.”
