The 28-year-old former Cowdenbeath and Dundee forward spent last season at Pittodrie then played on loan for Kilmarnock in the first half of the current campaign.
He was recalled by his parent club earlier this month but now returns north of the border to link up with Derek McInnes’ squad until the summer.
