Hamilton have completed the signing of Ghana striker Derek Asamoah until the end of the season and he will be in the squad for Saturday's trip to leaders Celtic.
The 27-year-old, who was most recently with Nice in France, can also count Northampton and Shrewsbury among his former clubs.
Accies boss Billy Reid, who has also signed ex-Manchester United youth frontman Christy Fagan, said: "Richard Offiong is injured and we have struggled to score goals of late.
"Derek is an addition between now and the end of the season. We'll have a look at him, he'll have a look at us and hopefully he can contribute."
