Hamilton Accies are sending their U20 side to Ayrshire on Sunday to play in a memorial match for their former goalkeeper Graham Potter.
The New Douglas Park side are facing Potter’s former club Cumnock Juniors, with the game kicking off at Townhead Park at noon.
Potter was a Hamilton player from 1997 to 2003 and made 59 appearances before heading for Cumnock. He played in the Junior Cup final in 2009 before passing away suddenly only a few weeks later on a pre-season tour at the age of just 30.
Hamilton secretary Scott Struthers said: “Graham made history with us as eight of his appearances were from the bench and that makes him our most-used sub keeper. We are proud to be playing our part in this memorial game.”
