Ross County have parted company with manager Derek Adams after a poor start to the season.
The 39-year-old had been in charge of the Dingwall club since May 2011, when he returned for a second spell after a stint as assistant at Hibernian.
Adams led Ross County to the First Division title and into the top flight - notching up a 40-game unbeaten run in the process - and the club finished fifth then seventh in the Premiership.
However, County are currently bottom of the table and are still looking for their first point as they prepare to face Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park on Saturday.
A club statement read: "Ross County FC and their Manager and Director of Football, Derek and George Adams, have come to an agreement whereby they will part ways, effective from today.
"Chairman Roy MacGregor wishes to recognise the contribution both have made to the journey Ross County have made over their years with the club and wish both well in their future careers.
“Further details of the club’s continuing restructuring will be made available as plans are ratified over the following days."
