Airdrie United have released two players from their squad with experienced defender Eddie Forrest and midfielder Stephen McKeown leaving the Diamonds.
Manager Jimmy Boyle has revealed Forrest has been suffering from an achilles injury, whereas former Airdrieonians, Partick Thistle and Ayr United player McKeown has commitments outside of football to concentrate on.
