Cowdenbeath have added a third Spanish player to their ranks with manager Colin Cameron adding former Barcelona youth and Athletico Mardrid B midfielder Albert Puigdollers Saperas to the earlier signings of Ruben Garcia Rey and Pablo Navas.
The 31-year-old has signed a short term deal until the end of December and he will feature in Cameron’s plans as soon as clearance comes from his previous club in the second tier of Spanish football CE Sabadell .
Saperas started off at Granollers however he moved to the Nou Camp side in 1996 and played for both their C and B sides before heading to Madrid in 2001.
After 2 years in the Spanish capital Saperas moved to Malaga B before he had spells with Cultural Leonesa, Badalona and Gava before joining Sabadell.
In total he has played over 300 league games in his home land and scored 20 goals and he also made one appearance for Catalonia.
