Hearts keeper Neil Alexander faces a month on the sidelines after being injured during Sunday's 2-1 win against Rangers at Ibrox.
Head coach Robbie Neilson told the club website: "Neil took a bad one. He's got a fractured cheekbone so he'll be out for around four weeks.
"It's not great but we've got a squad and I thought Scott Gallacher came on and did very well. He's a good goalkeeper and that's the reason we brought him here."
