Stirling Albion defender Brian Allison, who scored the winning goal when the Forthbank side defeated Rangers 1-0 back in October, looks set for surgery on a knee injury.
The 24-year-old former Falkirk player was injured against Berwick Rangers back at the end of March and he has suffered suspected cartilage damage.
Player/Manager Greig McDonald said: “The plan is for Brian to a scan on his injury and if that confirms the damage for him to undergo minor surgery in the near future. Hopefully that will mean he will be fully-fit well and ready to begin pre-season in June.”
