Alloa Manager Paul Hartley has signed another rising star from the Third Division with Queen’s Park full back Darryl Meggatt signing for the Wasps just a few days after Annan striker David Cox did likewise.
Meggat joined the Spiders two years ago from amateur side South Camlachie and Hartley was impressed with the 21 year olds displays against his Championship winning men this season with the Recreation Park boss saying, “I am delighted to bring Darryl to Alloa and we will give him a platform to continuing his progress in the game. Like David Cox he always impressed against us and I am sure that he will add strength to the left hand side of our defence.”
