Forfar’s on loan Dundee United attacker Dale Hilson is in line to complete an unlikely century of appearances for the Station Park club when they play Airdrie this weekend.
Hilson has already made 99 appearances for the Station Park side and looks set to complete a unique record of playing 100 times for the one club without ever being a permanent Loon.
Dale first joined Forfar on loan in August 2010 on a season long loan before returning in January 2012 for a second temporary time. A third spell saw him join Dick Campbell’s side in January 2013 and play in over 20 games while the 21-year-old has scored six times in his 19 appearances in season 2013/14.
Campbell said: “Throughout my career I have been lucky to have players that have been with me for a few seasons. Dale is one of them now even though he has never actually been my player.”
