Annan Athletic have appointed Peter Murphy as player/manager on a two-year deal after Jim Chapman recently took up the reins at Clyde.
The 36-year-old defender spent the bulk of his career with Carlisle United and moves to Galabank after a spell at Ayr United.
Annan reached the promotion play-offs in Ladbrokes League 2 in 2016/17 but lost out to Forfar Athletic in the semi-finals.
