Ten-man Annan closed the gap on League 2 leaders Peterhead to five points after coming from behind to beat bottom club Queen's Park 3-2 at Galabank on Tuesday evening.

On-loan Tony Wallace gave the Spiders an early lead and Jim Chapman's men were reduced to 10 men before the break when Steven Swinglehurst saw red. Martin McNiff equalised in 50 minutes and sub Scott Davidson scored twice before Wallace pulled one back.

Albion Rovers moved to within four points of the play-offs thanks to a 1-0 home win over Clyde. Scott Chaplain got the only goal from the penalty spot midway through the second half.
