Annan will be without striker Kenny MacKay for at least another fortnight due to a groin injury.
The Galabank side saw off interest from Dunfermline and Morton in the summer to keep hold of the 23-year-old, who only turned senior 12 months ago from Greenock Juniors
Manager Jim Chapman said: “It has been frustrating as, after getting a real boost when we persuaded Kenny to re-sign, we have not been able to build on it. He will be out for a few more weeks but hopefully he can still have a good season once we get him back on board.”
