Allan Moore has been appointed as the new manager of Arbroath after Paul Sheerin recently left Gayfield to take up a post as U20 coach at Aberdeen.
The former St Johnstone, Hearts and Airdrie winger spent eight years as Stirling Albion boss before moving to Morton in 2010.
He parted company with the Cappielow club in November 2013 after a poor run of results but is now back in football with the League 2 Red Lichties and will be assisted by Todd Lumsden.
Meanwhile, Arbroath have signed midfielder Scott McBride, who was with East Fife last season and has also played for Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline and Raith Rovers.
