Arbroath player/manager Paul Sheerin has signed striker Simon Murray after the former Montrose frontman had a fine season with Junior side Tayport.
The 21-year-old is the son of Gable Endies legend Gary Murray, who was sold for a club record £60,000 to Hibs in 1980.
Sheerin said: “Simon is full of enthusiasm and determined to make his move to Arbroath work. I am delighted I was tipped off about his good form and was able to bring him on board.”
