Annan goalkeeper Kenny Arthur has decided to retire from playing at the age of 35.

The shot-stopper joined the Galabank side last summer after serving Partick Thistle, Rochdale, Accrington Stanley, Grimsby and Airdrie.

Annan boss Jim Chapman said: "It is disappointing to lose someone of Kenny's experience. He was very influential last season on and off the park and we wish him well."
