Dunfermline Athletic have made Kilmarnock defender Lee Ashcroft their latest signing as they prepare for life in the Ladbrokes Championship.
The 22-year-old, who came through the youth system at Rugby Park and helped Killie retain their top-flight status, has agreed a two-year deal at East End Park.
He told the Dunfermline website: “I was at Killie for six years but Allan Johnston was the first man to really give me my chance in the first team and I will always be appreciative of that.
“When he approached me about Dunfermline it felt like the right move. I’m delighted to have got my future sorted so quickly and I’m ready to go.”
