Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes and striker Adam Rooney have won SPFL monthly awards for February.
McInnes has been named SPFL Premiership Manager of the Month after guiding the Pittodrie club to four wins out of five across three competitions – a run that saw them knock Celtic out of the Scottish Cup and also end their undefeated Premiership record and clean-sheet sequence.
Rooney, who scored the winning penalty in Sunday’s Scottish League Cup final, is the latest SPFL Player of the Month after netting in all three of Aberdeen’s Premiership matches in February, as well as against St Johnstone in the League Cup semi-final.
