Ladbrokes League 1 leaders Ayr United have landed an awards double after taking 10 points out of a possible 12 during September.
Ian McCall has been voted Ladbrokes League 1 Manager of the Month, with captain Nicky Devlin picking up the divisional Player of the Month prize.
Ayr began September in style with a 5-2 home victory over Stenhousemuir then shut out free-scoring title favourites Dunfermline with an impressive 2-0 victory at East End Park.
A 2-1 win away to in-form Airdrieonians followed, and only a late equaliser by Peterhead in a 1-1 draw at Somerset Park denied them a perfect month.
Experienced manager McCall, who took over from Mark Roberts in January, has transformed an Ayr side who narrowly avoided the relegation play-offs last season.
Devlin, 21, joined from Stenhousemuir in 2014 and has been in outstanding form this season, helping the team stay unbeaten in the league since an opening-day defeat at Albion Rovers.
The Ladbrokes monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
