Ayr United moved five points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship after thrashing Dundee United 5-0 at Tannadice.
Lawrence Shankland scored four times for Ian McCall's men to take his tally for the season to 26 goals and Michael Moffat was also on target.
United had won their previous four matches but stay third in the table, a point behind Ross County, after losing to Ayr for the second time this season.
The leaders are in Friday night action again next week when they host Inverness Caley Thistle at Somerset Park, live on BT Sport at 7.45pm.
